What is Find a Maker?
Find a Maker is an online directory created by the team behind Craft Festival, an organisation that has spent more than two decades championing contemporary craft and celebrating the people who make it.
Bringing together hundreds of skilled makers working across wood, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and other disciplines, Find a Maker connects people who appreciate handmade craftsmanship with the independent businesses behind it.
Rather than focusing on mass-produced products, the directory celebrates originality, quality and the skill involved in making something by hand.
It's a philosophy that feels very close to our hearts.

At Blue Brontide, we've always believed that the things we bring into our homes should be more than simply beautiful. They should be meaningful, useful and made to stand the test of time.
From our Yorkshire workshop, founder and maker Sammy Sonier designs and handcrafts a collection of sustainable wooden toys, children's tableware and heirloom flower presses using sustainably sourced solid oak.
Each piece begins with a thoughtful design and is carefully shaped, sanded and finished by hand, with attention given to both its beauty and everyday function.
